Titan Theater Presents: A Night Of Comedy

The Titan Theater Troupe opens the curtain this year with “A Night of Comedy.”  For this production, seniors wrote and directed spoofs based on popular movies.

“It is a very fun and enlightening experience,” Angela Sparks ‘20, said. “It has been very exciting to experiment and work with different actors and see the show come to life. I knew that it would be challenging, but my cast is very versatile and willing to change. I did not expect my creative vision to change throughout the rehearsal process, but as people started to put their own spin on their characters and make suggestions, I realized that the show could be better than I imagined.”

Students of all grade levels are participating in their first show.

“I am stage managing for ‘Night of Comedy’,” Joelle Cook ‘22 said. “Stage managers make sure that everything in the show runs smoothly. This is my first time doing it [stage managing] and I am very excited about it. I get to read everyone’s script, and, in a way, I am in every show. I like being the person everyone goes to with questions or problems, and I also love the organization this job needs. I hope everyone enjoys the show when they come to see my first show as a student here!”

“Night of Comedy” is Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7 at the door.
