The Titan Theater Troupe Presents A “Sweet” Show

The Titan Theater Troupe opens the curtain on the latest creative adventure tonight with “The Diviners.”  For this production, selected students compete with 45-minute shows to win various awards. Tonight, a “sweet” show will be opened, featuring a dinner before the show and free desserts after.

“I really enjoyed working on the show,” Ethan Moscone ‘22 said. “This was my first year in the company, as well as meeting other schools during the competition parts of it. My favorite part was making friends. I was on set crew and I really enjoyed the building aspect of it. I really love this show and am proud of all the work that everyone has put in.”

Students of all grade levels are able to join the company to help make the production the best it can be.

“This was my third year in MIFA,” Angela Sparks ‘20 said. “My favorite part was that I was able to work with a variety of different people to create a show and make it the best that it could be. I love being able to tell a story that impacts an audience. This year, I had the pleasure to direct, along with my co-director, Dayton Porter. I not only had the ability to work one-on-one with individuals with their designs and acting, but also in a group in a more collaborative process. I had to step out of my comfort zone a lot, but I really love how the show turned out, I feel that I have grown a lot in the process.”

“The Diviners” is tonight at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults at the door.
