As the 2024 election season approaches, seniors at Stevenson High School are urged to take a significant step into their civic journey: registering to vote. Eligible students, those who turn 18 on or before Election Day, are getting the opportunity to make their voices heard in local, state, and national elections.
Administration organized informational guides that help aid students through the voting registration process. These details cover key topics such as how to register online, deadlines for registration, and the importance of participating in elections. Additionally, the school is actively promoting voter registration through announcements and posters.
Mateo Dekah ’25 said he thinks it’s important to take account of the current situation in our government.
“Even while still being in school, it is their duty as American citizens to use their voices, which can make a big impact on any election whether it be a country, state, or even presidential,” Delaj said.
