Roblox is a game platform that allows players to both program and play games. This fan favorite was released on Sept. 1, 2006. People of all ages come together to play, create, and develop new games and concepts. This game is available on Xbox, PlayStation, IOS, Windows, and more.
Another fan favorite was released 3 years later in 2009, called Minecraft. This sandbox game was developed by a Swedish video game developer called Mojang Studios, is an open-world experience that is made up of virtual 3D blocks.
Both games have gained a huge following and audience. I personally feel Roblox is better than Minecraft. Roblox has more content and options to choose from. There are escape games, scary games, tycoons, story games, 2- player games you can play with your friends, and so much more you can find and explore.
I have played Roblox by myself, with a group of friends, or in a duo. There are different options like voice chat which has recently been introduced in November of 2021 or you can simply use the message chat.
In the app store the recommended age range to play Roblox is 12 and older. There are so many people out there who are older and younger than 12 years old, including myself, playing this globally popular game. There are some out there in the world who are in their 20’s having fun on this gaming platform.
I think that Minecraft is a good game, but it’s more for people that are into the subject of STEM, building, and exploring new worlds and environments. I am not a person who is interested in those types of things. I like all kinds of games for all types of interest, including the weird-looking ones.
