In the band room, the sound of music fills the air as Lillian Yousif '28 and Angelina Krikor '28 focus on their flutes while Ja'Koby Barbour '28 keeps the rhythm.
With each note, they bring energy and dedication to their craft. For them, music is more than just playing—it’s a break from the day, a challenge to improve, and a way to express themselves. "I
enjoy playing it because it gives you a breakthrough the day, and playing an instrument gives you something to practice and get better at consistently," Barbour said.
