As the school year kicks back into gear and students are going back to school, there are going to be many ways students feel about this, especially following a nearly two weeklong break.
One student, Joshua Renjy Thomas, ’24, remarks, “I want to get all A’s, get ready to graduate, go to college. Hopefully the semester will be fun, so far, it’s been a little difficult, so I want it to get easier so I can end off high school on a good note.”
Other students share his hopeful sentiment, like Andres Felix, ’25, who said, “I’m going to turn in every missing assignment I have from last week, and pass with flying colors.”
Some students aren’t as excited for this semester, such as Robert Adkins, ’25, who said, “I feel mostly the same. Usually I like 2nd semester better than 1st. We get more snow days this semester. Overall, I feel this semester is going to be average.”
Though we can make guesses about it, the only way to know how the semester goes is by waiting until the end, but we can always hope it gets better and treats us well.
