Luke Grunow ’26, Copy Editor
After a successful, rewarding two years of newspaper, Nathan Naman ’26 is still going strong leading the Vanguard. Initially Naman joined newspaper due to a missing hole in his schedule.
He has stayed despite facing challenges with rebuilding the newspaper following the departure of Stevenson high school’s long-time journalism teacher. Naman took the role of editor-in-chief and lead the start of a new era in the newsroom. In his free time, he likes to watch movies and listen to music with his friends. He also workouts out as much as he can. Even after having to learn a new way of writing, deal with facing many unique struggles with journalism, and becoming the editor-in-chief in his second year, Naman has persevered and came out the other side.
“My goal here at the Vanguard is to try and build up the culture here since we lost the old teacher here at school two years ago,” Naman said. “I enjoyed all the connections and environment of the class for every year I have been here. I hope to finish strong for my final year with the paper.”
